    Good food, great value. Good (if not exactly friendly) service. Very clean and well-kept (reviews from a few years ago indicate that used to be a problem), though nothing particularly mentionable in terms of decor. Just a very good place to pick up a decent not-really-small small shawarma sandwich for $5 at lunch - and such places should be treasured, and the word should be spread.

    My God, It's full of Stars! - Fantastic food!  

    This is the best Mideastern cuisine in Ottawa.  The food is delicious, and the portions are enormous.  My girlfriend and I can order the Chicken/steak platter and split it between us, and still have food to take home with us.

    I've tried a lot of Mideastern places in Ottawa thus far, and this place wins hands down.  I do take out from here regularly.

    The service was terrible from the moment you walk in. The server was completely rude and difficult to understand when we asked him questions. He seemed like he just didn't care to help. We ordered one small beef shawarma and one large chicken shawarma sandwich, and questioned us several times and giving us attitude of getting the small.

    The shawarma itself was not bad but nothing special compared to all the great alternatives on Rideau St. The garlic sauce left something to be desired. I wouldn't go back.

    I ignored the lousy attitude of the server here but couldn't ignore the mouse I saw feasting away on the scraps left on the floor.  Not going back.  I'll post a photo of the vermin for all to see

    From the outside the place looks run down.  The inside is quite large, but not bright enough.
    My shawarma was hot and fresh, with amazing hummus, but the hot sauce was horrible.  
    The salad was mediocre and somewhat salty, but they have a fair portion.
    I found the price slightly high but not terrible.
    I would eat here again but it wouldn't be my first choice.
